H. Moser & Cie was originally a watch manufacturer established by Heinrich Moser in 1805. The company experienced great successes during that time, and many of their rare and exquisite pieces can be found on the wrist of Russian royalties. Sadly, the company failed to stay in operation because of the quartz crisis in 1979. Nevertheless, the company remained independent, designing simple yet functionally complicated wristwatches. They also strongly believed that all the production of the movements should be done in-house. With the help of Dr Jürgen Lange in 2005, the watch manufacturer was given a second chance to strive for greatness in the world of horology.
The present watch is subtle in its brilliance — only a true watch connoisseur would understand the beauty that lies within. Instead of multiple subdials, the perpetual calendar features a small central hand along with the 12 indices to indicate the month. The sunburst design and gradient colour effect of the _fumé_ dial lend it a modern, minimalist and stylish appeal.
